I didn't realise how much orange I had around me until I looked through some of the photo's I had taken recently.
I was in Italy earlier in the week and just happened to walk past a wedding ( it had already taken place ) but the chairs were still set up and decorated in white & orange. I thought it was quite unusual colours for a wedding but against the Tuscan sun and terracotta buildings it gave off a lovely warmth.
Spiritually orange is the colour of confidence, creativity and freedom its also one of our 2nd chakra colours ( energy points in the body ). Without realising it I had also bought an orange jumper last week, so I guess I need to absorb as much orange as I can at the moment. If you're reading this blog - you too may be in need of an orange boost!
My husband Martin standing next to one of my pieces of art called "Lucky Fish" with a lovely big orange fish of course! He was saying that this was one of his favourite's and that maybe we should keep it! This is always a dilemma when you create something you love and become attached to it!
I set a corner up in my garden with one of my canvas's and thought how good outdoor art looks, I need to get some made up in weather proof perspex maybe!
Bright orange roses from my garden mixed with pretty vintage china, it looks so vibrant.
How colour affects us:
Positive: Physical comfort, food, warmth, security, sensuality, passion, abundance, fun.
A wedding in Italy with more orange flowers.
The sun sets on a Tuscan wedding and new life starts for the happy couple, who ever they are, wishing them lots of happy years together!
